There are times when memories of the past would bring happiness to a person; there are also times when memories would bring sadness to people. A weekend; full of sadness, with a feeling of losing something in life. The vibrations/sounds of AdApps/ADUI/OLS/CPT in my mind never stopped.; a weekend where i saw only purple.
Sep 17th 2007; a day of excitement, a day where a new journey started in Yahoo! Bengaluru. A company known for its innovation in the field of web services. A company where each individual is treated like a STAR, and every contribution is respected and rewarded with gifts.
Working with a group of intellectuals was more fun, a group which had a wide cultural diaspora. People for Karnataka, AP, TN, UP, Kerala, US, Japan, UK, Korea etc.; it was truly a national and international integration.
Things that can never be forgotten;
1) Visits to Hyderbad biryani house, KFC, food street
2) Trip to Goa
3) One day outing to resorts
4) Table Tennis matches, Pool Table, Carrom, Chess
5) Night outs during releases.
6) Macbook
There were few instances which i rather want to forget;
1) A boat tragedy in Kerala - A entire family got drowned. One of the member happened to a fellow Yahoo!.
2) An untimely death - A fellow Yahoo's husband expired
The 3years of stay at Yahoo! would always be remembered and cheered for the rest of my life.
Long live Yahoo!
